Snow Policy
Green Acres Preschool and Childcare closes if a State of Emergency is declared or announced on WDEL, WSTW.

have faith, respect and self-control in a cozy atmosphere with a professional and caring staff.

Tuition
Prices vary depending upon the program selected.  For a quote specific to the needs of your child, please call the school at (302) 378-9250.

  • Payment Schedule
    For our part-time preschool program: Our tuition is based on a yearly rate divided into nine monthly payments. Days we are closed have been excluded from the basic tuition rate. Payments are due the first of each month (September payment was due on August 1st). All others begin on October 1st. A $10.00 late fee is assessed on all payments paid after the first week of the month and another $10.00 for each succeeding week of late payment. We do offer a $10.00 sibling discount for a second child.
  • For full day preschool and before and after care: Tuitions are due Monday mornings of each week. Tuitions may be paid weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. However, please note several months have a fifth week and must be accounted for. Late fees of $5/day are now being enforced on tuitions not submitted by Wednesday morning. Any tuition that remains unpaid for more than two weeks must be paid before a child can remain in the program unless there are extenuating circumstances.
  • Checks should be made payable to “Green Acres Preschool” and deposited in the tuition box on the desk as you enter the multi-purpose room.  For tax purposes, the school’s tax ID number is provided to all parents at the end of the year.  Please keep all canceled checks for your records of childcare payments.  If a weekly or monthly receipt is needed, please ask and one will be provided to you.  Receipts will be given at the end of the year.
  • Our full time child care program and before and after program are full year programs and children enrolled are expected to remain in the program from the beginning until we close in August for vacation. 
  • We offer a $10/week sibling discount if two children are in the full-time, full-day program. This does not apply to one full-time and one before and after. In the summer, either the sibling discount or the 10% discount (if applies) can be taken. Not both.

Program Policies
A parent handbook is given to all full-day applicants and must be signed confirming they agree to the policies listed within before an application is accepted.  There is a $50.00 (non-refundable) registration fee that is returned with an application to secure a space for a child.
